Summary
Malaysian authorities have dismantled a migrant smuggling syndicate known as “Geng Ashraf,” which is believed to have earned about RM2.4 million since early 2025. The group smuggled foreign nationals into Malaysia via third countries through Kelantan before transporting them to the Klang Valley.

In a raid on a transit house in Ampang, 27 Bangladeshi migrants and three suspected facilitators were arrested. The migrants had reportedly entered a neighboring country days earlier before being smuggled into Malaysia.
