Status of Residence:
Long-Term Resident

Those who are granted residence for a certain period of stay by the Minister of Justice, taking into consideration special circumstances.
Examples of these include resettled refugees, third-generation Japanese, and Japanese remaining in China.

5 years, 3 years, 1 year, 6 months, or a period individually designated by the Minister of Justice (within a range not exceeding 5 years)
