Summary
Japan has introduced new pre-entry tuberculosis (TB) screening requirements for certain nationalities. Long-term assignees from the Philippines and Nepal will need to take the TB test at designated clinics in their countries starting June 23, 2025. The test result must be submitted as part of the Certificate of Eligibility (COE) application.
